This policy outlines how G’day Carers collects, uses and discloses your personal information and how to get in touch with us for any concerns or queries about our management of your personal information. This policy does not cover personal information about its employees, collected or held by G’day Carers. Employees can contact their manager or HR representative for information about our employee information handling practices.
We generally collect personal and/or sensitive information directly from you through the use of our standard forms, interviews, via email or through a telephone conversation with you. With your consent we may collect personal and/or sensitive information from third party contractors or agents and government Instrumentalities that are involved in the provision of our supports and services.
We collect your personal and/or sensitive information for any one or more of the following reasons:
- Providing our supports or services to you and to ensure they meet your requirements;
- To assist with your queries;
- Facilitating our internal business operations, including the fulfilment of any legal obligations; and

G’day Carers tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our sites. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. G’day Carers does break down overall usage statistics according to a user’s domain name, browser type.
We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.
We may place a text file called a “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. G’day Carers only uses cookies to track user traffic patterns. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself.
